The wind farms are now both onshore and offshore in sea or in water bodies are put up due to land scarcity in major countries. But technically speaking wind generator are put up where wind velocity is more so that maximum power can be generated by this non renewable energy source. Technically speaking wind generators are called wind turbines which have a propeller attached to an electrical generator which in turn is attached to an appropriate electronics. The generated electricity is directly transferred to an electrical grid or it is used to charge batteries for further used or to sell the charged batteries to consumers directly which acts as an income generating for the concerned farmers on whose lands these wind generators are put up. Wind generator generates wind energy which is clean and non –toxic energy but it has also disadvantages .the wind generator’s mechanical noise disturbs those who reside in the close proximity of a large wind farm where hundreds of wind generators are put up .So to avoid many problems to our human habitat ,the wind generator mangers are forced to operate under slow speed so that residents and wind generators can live in peaceful co-existence with the nature.”
